HERE IN THIS PLACE Lyrics: Based on Luke 24: 13-35 Music: David Haas
Refrain: Are not our hearts burning within us? Are not our lives shared as one bread? Here in our hands, here in this place: Jesus, our Hope, Life from the dead.
1. In the breaking of the bread, may we know the Lord. We were lost, and now are found, home again with God!
2. You are food for all our hunger, You are all we need. You are our promise and our hope, life for the world.
3. As grain, once scattered on the hill, was gathered all as one, may we be one in this bread: Behold the Lamb of God!
4. As this bread is broken, as this cup is shared, we give our lives broken and outpoured. We will serve the Lord!
NOW WE REMAIN Lyrics: Based on 1 Corinthians, 1 John, 2 Timothy Music: David Haas
Refrain: We hold the death of the Lord deep in our hearts. Living, now we remain with Jesus the Christ.
1. Once we were people afraid, lost in the night. Then by Your cross we were saved; dead became living, life from Your giving.
2. Something which we have known, something we’ve touched, what we have seen with our eyes: this we have heard; life-giving Word.
3. He chose to give of Himself, became our bread. Broken, that we might live. Love beyond love, pain for our pain.
4. We are the presence of God; this is our call. Now to become bread and wine: Food for the hungry, life for the weary. For to live with the Lord, we must die with the Lord.

 | when i first heard now we remain (sung by hangad), i was touched by the beauty of the music and the message of the song. i have sung this with different choir groups. at first, it was somewhat difficult as the notes aren't that friendly. heheheh.. but then, i am a hardheaded fool.
thanks for sharing. |
 | this version that i have is from the original album of the composer david haas. walang anuman. i am trying to promote the proper song for the liturgy so that we are singing the liturgy and not just singing in the liturgy. |
 | thank u for sharing great music |
